Joining the Bandwidth Revolution Sunday, Aug 11, 2024

What Starting Today, August 11th 2024. All new Xenyth Virtual machines come with 10x the bandwidth, 5G download speed, and 2G upload speed, regardless of plan. Old machine owners can put in a ticket to change their existing plans to the new speed. This change is done with ZERO change to our cost structure, and plan prices have remained the exact same. Why Since we started, our bandwidth limits have remained stable, despite our network growing expoentially over the past three years.

Moving Datacenters Without Skipping A Beat Saturday, Sep 11, 2021

What Recently we moved from a local no-name DC to Equinix’s state-of-the-art Toronto 2 (TR2) datacenter. Why Over the past year, Xenyth Cloud has seen significant growth in both volume of customers and bandwidth. The solution to this is quite simple, increase transit purchased from upstreams and, if logical, expand our IX ports (TORIX). That’s where our issue came in; the no-name DC we were at previously did not have any carriers besides themselves, nor a TORIX POP.

Host-Pls becomes Xenyth Sunday, Feb 21, 2021

We’re officially moving up in the world and rebranding to Xenyth Cloud! We’ve been working day and night to build a brand that is much more professional and useful, while maintaining our old community feel and keeping our support in-house. We think it’s finally time that we show you what we’ve been up to the past few months. We’ve answered a couple of frequently asked questions below: Why the change? We care more and more about our clientele, and we that found it was harder for clients to share us via word-of-mouth with an immature name.

Doing the Accounting Ourselves Monday, Jun 22, 2020

Over the past months, we’ve learned quite a bit about how subscription models work in various payment processors, their benefits, quirks, and their bugs. We’ve learned that Stripe is far superior to PayPal when it comes to card payments, both in speed and reliability. We’ve also learned that PayPal is not reliable at all when it comes to their own subscription service, as they often failed to report subscription payments, transactions, and sometimes even double-charged our clients!
