General / Billing

Where are the servers located?
All of our servers are located in Equinix Datacenters. Which are known to be the most premium locations in terms of network capacity, system reliability, and overall environmental stability. Rest easy knowing there is little to no risk of power loss, earthquakes, tornados, floods, or any other major natural disasters.
How does AutoPay work?

AutoPay is an opt-in option that allows us to automatically maintain your balance to a certain level. Whenever your account balance falls below your minimum, we will charge your payment method to bring it back up.

This is completely up to you to use, and is absolutely not a requirement to use our platform. It is important to note that a negative balance may cause your account to be suspended or terminated, so we really encourage having autopay enabled.

What is Hourly Billing?

We let you choose how long you want to keep your servers, up to the hour, and allow you to save money when you don’t need services.

We calculate hourly billing by counting the number of hours in the month, and dividing the monthly price of the service into hourly chunks. At the end of the month, you can only ever be charged the monthly rate, never more. (Not including overage charges or addons)

Virtual Servers

What Operating Systems do you Support?

Currently, we support the latest version of every major Linux distribution, including Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, and Debian. If we are missing a popular operating system that you are interested in, we can easily add it upon request.

You can also provide your own ISO, we support any compatible AMD64 Operating System. It is important to note that many of our automation and quality of life features will not work properly with custom ISOs, this is a risk that you take when using a custom ISO.

Do you offer Console Access?
Yes! You can view your server’s console by clicking on the “VNC” button in the control panel of the server you want to access. Allowing easy access to the monitor of the VPS, as well as the ability to control the keyboard and mouse.
Can we use more bandwidth?
Of course! Once you reach your plan limit, we do not limit your speed what-so-ever. Although, there is a US$10.00 per TB overage charge that may be applied to your bill at the end of the term.
Do you have IPv6?

Absolutely! Not only do we offer IPv6, but we provide an entire /64 for each server! That’s 18446744073709551616 individual IPv6 addresses that you can use per server!

Don’t worry, it’s not wasteful, this is how IPv6 is supposed to be given out! Any provider who only gives you a single IP is just cheaping out on you!

What Virtualization Technology do you use?
We use Kernel-based Virtual Machines (KVM), which gives you complete virtualization and isolation! Our entire cloud infrastructure is based heavily around OpenStack KVM, with some major modifications to adapt it to our offerings. We don’t want to cut corners anywhere, so we’ve picked the best option to serve our customers.
What are the specs of your servers?
We have a multitude of different servers, the majority of them are on Intel® Xeon® Ivy Bridge or better processors, with each server receiving at least 2x10G diverse uplinks for redundancy (in case one link goes down). We also have redundant network storage deployed across the datacenter, running all virtual servers on redundant Enterprise PCIe SSD/NVMe storage with zero risks of data loss.
Do I get billed for Offline/Unused Services?
Yes. Your server is allocated resources whether or not you use them. The only way to stop paying for a service is to delete it.
Is SMTP allowed?

SMTP is usually NOT allowed on our platform. In order to qualify for SMTP:

  • You must be a customer under good standing for at least 6 months.
  • You must send ONLY transactional emails. NO marketting or spam.
  • You may only send 100 emails PER DAY.
  • You must always have a balance above 50$, to account for any spam infractions that will be deducted.

If you do not meet these requirements, we suggest that you use Xenyth in conjunction with a mail relay such as Sendgrid or Mailgun, as they allow you to connect to them without SMTP access and can support a much larger variety of email needs.

Do you block any Ports?

By default, we block ports related to Mail, as well as other ports common to DDoS attacks.

Blocked Outbound TCP ports: 17, 19, 25, 445, 1900

Blocked Outbound UDP ports: 17, 19, 1900, 11211, 54313

Additional Services

Networking Addons

Do you offer DDoS Protection?
While we do have protections in place to protect other customers in case one of our users is attacked, we do not offer DDoS protection as an individual unique product, and do not tolerate customers who attract DDoS attacks.
Do you offer Reverse DNS records?
Absolutely, Just make a ticket with your use case and we will gladly change it for you.
Can I order more IPs?
Of course! You can even order them automatically through the dashboard as you need it. No human interaction required.
Do you provide Private Networking?

While we do not publicly provide Private Networking, we can enable it on your account on a case by case basis (for example in cases where you have a lot of traffic between two VPSes, or you have a database that you want to hide from the public).

If you feel you benefit from Private Networking, please make a Ticket and a support representative will gladly assist you.

Instance Snapshots

Do you offer Backups/Snapshots?

We offer a service called “Snapshots”, which allow you to take a full save of your virtual machine’s disk that you can reinstall or copy later.

It is important to note that snapshots DO NOT save the contents of attached Block Storage volumes.

How are Snapshots billed?
Snapshots are billed by the Gigabyte of storage required, at a rate of 0.05$/gb. Keep in mind that even if your instance does not use the whole disk, we need to keep a copy of the entire drive, we cannot just copy the files.

Block Storage

Can I add Additional Storage?

Because of purpose-built plans, we cannot modify the disk size of the primary disk on your VPS.

With this said, we have an offering called “Block Storage”, which you can read about in the next section.

What is Block Storage?

With the increased need of flexibility for storage based applications (Databases, Log servers, etc). It has become more and more necessary to be able to add and remove storage on demand, separate from the other aspects of a server such as RAM or CPU.

With Block Storage, you can add or remove storage on demand, without having to worry about whether it will be enough space later. With our offerings, you can also choose between HDD block storage (Suitable for Low Frequency databases, Archival servers, etc) and SSD block storage. Meaning you can save your precious SSD space on your main disk for more useful tasks and have your long-term storage needs on an HDD block storage volume.
